Sweet insanity by bingbing51 Sweet insanity by bingbing51
I came across this insane old woman in my town today- she was huddled in a grimy corner of an unoccupied building;
she cupped an empty paint can over her ears and listened intently to something.
I don't know what she heard therein but the sounds or voices that she heard from the empty tin can would prompt her to guffaw loudly every now and then...

I envied her.

awesome shot! to happen upon that kind of opportunity shot and with a good camera in hand at that--kudos to ya! :)

This is a beautiful portrait. I like it because the photo is not about the layers of makeup she has on, or the hair product used, but about a feeling; an emotion. And that is so much more powerful.

The tittle fits is perfectly too.

The expression, as already mentioned, is gorgeous. This is the sort of thing you see in National Geographic or Time magazine. Fantastic shot.

This makes me think quite a bit about happiness. I think people tend to pity people who are mentally unstable... but it's moments like this that make me suspect that they'll enjoy life more than I ever will.

Beautiful, thought-provoking shot. It made me smile.

In this day and age we all most probably need a slight touch of that insanity, so we can inwardly laugh more!

This immediately caught my attenton. What a beautiful soul to be trapped in a mind that can no longer bare to be with us. I don't blame her, sometimes. I hate this for her, but I so love this picture.

Yours is one of the best images I have enjoyed, not just on dA :devart: but even in the galleries that I haunt, searching for treasures. I created a collection of these faves called "humanities." I love these so very much and wish I owned them all.

I am writing to let you know that I have put your deviation in my "shoutbox" to be displayed with every journal I write. I doubt it will ever be removed unless you ask me to remove it.

Thank you for your art! Thank you deeply. It waters my soul.

PS: Ok some might get this message on more than one deviation LOL You got "that" style!

I believe your camera has captured the Great "I AM", if anyone knows what I mean by that...

that one place where boundries imposed by what we perceive as being reality, which is merely an illusion, are crossed. Drunks, poets, children and the insane ones go there more often than us, the conforming creatures

where human/divine/riddiulous/sublime meet and become one.

Love & Light!
