Thank you for looking! Yes quite a bit of effort! I felt like putting them into a video was an absolute necessity since making them meant I was too busy to do other animation in the past year. Alas, when putting this together I went back to the icons and did MORE to them since the more i saw them the more i wanted to fix them!

The title thankfully is something I can change without re-rendering and reuploading! Those took about 20 minutes and 2 hours, respectively, each time.

You might be shocked at how many people like those things. With this in mind, my brother Ian has written and made videos for TWO! New-England Patriot themed parody songs [this season]. According to the Pepsi display at the supermarket, the Superb-Bowl football game occurs tomorrow, so if I am going to link at these videos I should do so prior to then.
The Gronk ga-gronk-gronk gronnk Song ( I like this one better since the original song is distinctive and REALLY deserves to have stupid parodies written over it)

Does anyone who looks at these pages actually have any clue what is going on? I know that a few specific people do, but in general, is this comprehensible? I spent years and years on this, and it makes sense to ME, but I hate to be excessively conventional in my proceedings or obvious in my explanations, and I wonder if anybody is legitimately following it or if most of the few "Favorite" marks I get are out of simple habit, or worse, from deviantart front-page viewers who randomly favorite stuff they don't care about the slightest bit, trying to draw attention to themselves.
Also, if you don't follow these or do not understand them, please don't say you do to try and make me feel better. That really does not help anybody! I work too hard on this for preten

I usually hate Deviantart's april fool gags but...fooled you! (Maybe?) There is no "but." I hate this one too! Ha ha ha my life is empty. I also hate the word "but" and its ubiquitous homophone.
Although people are actually encouraged to make art for this whatever-it-is, even if it happens to be extremely ugly and derivative art that fixates on one of my least favorite body parts that is not also my least favorite homophone: open mouths, with tongues visible and unnecessarily emphasized teeth, so I suppose I can only just intensely dislike it.
You are, naturally, free to like it! I grant you that permission for now.

active art accounts with no art on their profiles?Something I have been aware of for the past few months: more and more deviant-art accounts seem to not have any deviations on their front pages. My understanding is that you get to feature one by default, and also show your four most recent items as a group. And if you have a core account, you can feature about ten specific items on your page (and the site doesn't think to remove them when your subscription expires. I have not checked on this because I don't want the site to suddenly realize I am not supposed to be allowed to have that many anymore and I am certainly not buying a subscription!)
Another setup I see a increasingly is single front-page comments by the user, saying something to the effect of "reply HERE, and only here," usually with a bunch of hidden comments underneath. The combined effect of these two is that the page loads quickly and in a small space, but conveys very little information.
Certainly I PREFER that to the myspace-style pages covered

My brother Ian (Cunningham, not Biggs) seems to have had a crazy old time getting this song made, and the video put together (twice, but that is another story, although you can see the old version of the video since a bunch of people re-uploaded it with and without the credits removed, which is the one true indicator of success). It is based on a popular song called Closer currently in circulation, that I recognize from hearing at the laundromat and respectfully withhold my opinion of at this time.
If you have even a passing interest in the American footed ball, specifically the New England Patriots association of players, contemporary music or what people related to me are doing, I recommend giving it a listen. It has been played on local radio stations, I hear (although I have only heard the other one; I would prefer this one! I want Ian to get a recording deal so he can buy me a washing machine so I won't have to go to the laundromat a

new music 'video'The last time I posted music here I did it as an art item since I had a yet-unused drawing for it, but this got more complicated, so it only really "works" as a video. I am still figuring out what works best, and what works so horribly that I should be shamed into exile.

Some quick recognition tipsI remember it can be quite tough to gain recognition on DeviantArt when you first start out. It's a massive website with so many features and ways to interact! 16 Examples of how NOT to Pitch a LoglineI joined a Twitter dealie where you pitch to agents over Twitter, and I swear I learned more in one day about pitching than I have reading any number of how-to-write books.
A logline is a one sentence pitch of your story. It can be used on Twitter, but it's also used in person as an elevator pitch. It's the distilled essence of stakes, story, and character. Some people find it frustrating and intimidating, but I find it easier to do a logline than a query.
I got a few bites from agents, so I was quite pleased. I gained a lot of sympathy for them around 3 in the afternoon, though. YouTube stuff + Update stuffSo, things are little bit hectic right now, and YouTube has been giving me a bit of hassle lately. I seem to have been losing subscribers since my last stream on my main channel, with a very big loss on my last Animated Atrocities upload, which is worrying, especially because any theory that I've had towards the numbers doesn't fit all of the evidence. (If people were getting sick of me talking about Growing Around stuff, then I should have had a positive turnaround when I uploaded an Animated Atrocities video). Add to that that like every single video this year has been copyright claimed, and let's just say that things have been discouraging as of late.
