Thank you!  I actually lost track of video games, in general, around 1996 or so, apart from a few key exceptions, but I have always wanted to be involved with them, and have tried to direct my thoughts more toward that end lately, after too many years of assuming I was too late.

I dont really think its ever late, because games like cuphead (www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjdbhC…) appear and are very liked exactly for being oldy and heartwarming. Your style is somthing, a game with it shurely would be cool X)
The thing is, to actually participate in gamemaking you would need to find a team that is willing and able to do programming, voicing and other things.

This is some awesome stuff! :3 With the kind of illustrations you do I'm surprised you and Rik haven't collaborated on doing children's books or something. :) The details and colors stand out really well. How do you create a lot of these? :3 Paint?

Jeez, this gallery makes me wonder if somebody dosed me. And I mean that in the best possible way.

Thank you for meaning that in the best possible way!  Is there a specific substance you are concerned about dosages of?  Or have I misread, and you wonder if you dozed off and imagined this?

I wanna color like you, what are the secrets? :o

Thank you for saying so!  My first bit of advice would be to color like YOU, rather than like me, because I cannot guarantee I am coloring properly, or that what I do will work for you if it IS proper.
Also, increasingly my methods are digital, and you seem to prefer physical material, which I have less experience or space in my home for.
Of course I suggest practicing frequently.  I try draw something every day.
The impression of color varies based on what colors it is near.  I often oversaturate my pictures to a ludicrous degree, when having fewer, duller colors would be fine.  Too many rainbows and too much brightness can be overwhelming and desensitizing.  The perception of color is an illusion.  Grey can look like blue if it is next to orange, for example, and the grey may be all you need.
Value can be more important than hue.  You can have green darken into purple, then into brown, then into blue, for example.  I use purple as a shadow color regularly (instead of black).  I often have the whole image area purple before I draw something, if I do not start on paper.
Light (color) does not just come from the front; everything reflects it to some degree.  Everything has some amount of colored light behind it, or next to it.  I mean to use more reflection than I do.
Do not be too reliant on layers in art software (but again you may have better luck than I do).

Those are what I think of right now!  I hope this is not too pretentious or wordy.

I wanted as much words as you could, worry not! Also, embarrassed that you looked at my gallery, that is stuff I did when I was ~13 years old (currently 17). Since then I've been doing digital stuff, which I should upload.

Fun fact, I think my friend linking your page implies he thinks you and I are similar. Which is a sensible thing to think! Traded my sleep today to read your comic to the point red-Fatigue-as-I-call-it is scanned, and gotta say, the humour, artstyle, worldbuilding, personalities, use of english etc etc remind me a lot of what I wanted to do for my own comic which doesn't exist yet. (and now has to go thru some changes, obviously xP As awesome as I find yours, I don't want it to be a copy)

Anyway, got visits now so I gotta stop writing. I'll maybe bother you some other time. Thankful for the advice!

Thank you for asking!  I like feeling relevant.
The world you see is generally built as it is drawn, and revised later with whatever set of alternate options I have boxed myself into.  It is at this point probably different from what I wanted when I started but not quite what I want now either!
Do not worry about thinking you are similar!  You are already more outgoing and less set in your ways than I am.
I like to think my comic strip is uniquely bland and dysfunctional, and while I am curious what you did that you think is unacceptably similar, if it actually IS by some odd coincidence I think you could only expand its potential by changing it!  I made many bad choices.
