US/Nigeria occupied zone, HD-105684b

3 US Army rangers and 2 delta force operators wait by a heavily damaged structure built in 1987 when humans first arrived on HD-105684b. The planet in question is under joint US and Nigerian control and is also heavily contested territory between humans and extra terrestrial militaries as it is undeniably rich in resources that can be taken advantage of to make weapons. After an invasion that took place in 2032, the US army commenced Operation Sidewinder which saw the deployment of 7 infantry divisions, 10 SFGs, 2 air cavalry brigades and the entirety of the 75th ranger regiment and the 160th SOAR. The operation was well-fought on the humans part and turned out to be a massive success which saw the full-scale retreat of extraterrestrials out of the system. HD-105684b still remains a developing but thriving human colony.
