Third Infantry Division NCO

Pictured here is US Army Sergeant First Class Adams, a senior NCO within his platoon belonging to the 3rd Infantry Division. He is seen sporting the Interceptor outer tactical vest, one of the earlier MOLLE capable load bearing systems, in this case mounting three double-magazine pouches (6 extra mags in total), an AN/PRC-117 personal radio system, an M9 bayonet and a hydration pack. His helmet has a sun visor, a comms antenna and a tactical light attached, and he also carries an M17A2 gas filtration system in the event of possible chemical exposure. He is armed with a standard issue Colt M4A1 carbine with a standard set of attachments, including a Comp M2 aim point, a PEQ-2A IR laser, and a foregrip, and he also carries a Beretta M9 as a sidearm.
