Oshkosh M-ATV - 1/25th Infantry Division

This is an Oshkosh M-ATV MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) Vehicle in use by the 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (US Army) during Operation Vanguard Blockade (July 16th, 2010). The vehicle is armed with a roof-mounted Browning M2 .50 cal machine gun, which can be switched with an FN M240B 7.62mm MG, Mk. 19 40mm Grenade Launcher, M220 TOW Anti-Tank launcher, or it could also be fitted with a CROWS (Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station) module. The M-ATV is designed to withstand small-arms fire as well as contact with some explosive devices, whilst still being able to remain highly mobile. It is fitted with a TAK-4 Independent Suspension System and has an operational range of 320 miles (510 kilometers).
