327th BARC Trooper

This is a Biker Advanced Recon Commando (BARC) Trooper attached to the Republic's 327th Star Corps, one of the most battle-worn units of the GAR. These soldiers were trained to operate the BARC Speeder; an advanced, highly mobile light vehicle developed and first utilised during the early days of the Clone Wars (Around 22 BBY). Traditionally, BARC troopers were only discernible by their specialised helmets that were designed to direct the vision of the trooper forward in order to ignore any distractions that may cause a crash whilst riding on the speeders, however, 327th BARC troopers came equipped with a hybridised armour system that fused both standard clone armour as well as the chest plate, backpack, and modular pockets as seen on Scout Trooper armour. Commander Deviss presumably led a detachment of these troopers, who would some times accompany him on small-scale missions.
