Portal Security Camera Assmbld
By
Ok! One more quick one to complete the set! Well, for now at least. I had played with the idea of trying to actually model GLaDOS itself, but I think it would really get too messy. Maybe, we'll see.
Anyway, for the model at hand: this is the GLaDOS Security Camera, the eye of GLaDOS throughout the XBox 360 (and PC) game, Portal. Kept it pretty simple, the only part I had any trouble with was the tabs on the small black laser on the side of the main white camera, but it wasn't that bad. Used some double-sided tape I had lying around to attach it to the bookshelf I've converted to my "papercraft shrine", and presto!
If you really want to go for accuracy, there are two black wires supposed to be connecting the back of the camera to the black triangular piece connecting to the wall.
Give it a shot!
...god my camera sucks (yay for my sister's!)</i>
"Did you know, you can donate one or all of your vital organs to the 'Aperture Science Self-Esteem Fund for Girls'? It's true!"
"Unbelievable! You, <subject name here>, must be the pride of <subject hometown here>."

PDO of Pieces (PePaKuRa File)
This is part of a series:
GLaDOS Assembled with cores
GLaDOS Assembled w/o cores
Cake
Security Camera
Turret

Have you built this or one of my other models? Feel free to let me know how hard you thought they were!

I really love your work i just have to say that, because people like me, people who have no clue of art, can build something for what they can be proud of with your help. Here is a picture of my work:

I´m pretty new to papercraft so it doesnt look that good but i am proud of it
You might see, that i´m trying to make GLaDOS now. I rescaled it with Pepakura Designer because i know i make many mistakes with glue on a little size like this
