Halo Ringworld Assembled

Description

Heh all right! This was probably the quickest I've ever designed and built a model. Usually I get side-tracked after designing it and work on another project... but not this sucker. I spent.. maybe 5 hours total, finding the textures and making a new 'build-able' model, converting it to cut-out form, then actually printing, cutting, and assembling it. All it needs now is a stand... maybe I'll just hang it from the ceiling with some fishing wire.

According to the size of the 'real' Halo ringworld given by Bungie (Halo's makers), this model is on a 1:32,808,399 scale (the model is 1 foot in diameter, while Halo is 10,000 kilometers). What I've noticed is that paper does not scale well; the larger you build it, the more distortion it will have. This one is pretty good, and almost sits perfectly flat. But that's after toying with it for quite a bit.

You shouldn't need instructions for this one, just use the letters as a guide to match the 6 pieces up

Credits and Copyrights to Microsoft and Bungie Studios... you know the drill.

How much glue used?

And don't say none because how does it stay together with normal printing paper? You must of used like some heavy construction paper.
