Greyhound Assembled

This one I did while I was away at school missing my dog back home. I've got an enormous greyhound named Stoney, and I was bored one day and quick made a little model of him, figured what the heck, I've done worse.

Well, that's it for the immediate models I wanted to get done, so I'll have to see what else comes up. I'm still considering doing the monitor from Halo, but the problem with that one is hes similar to the Rez Avatar in that he's a bunch of non-connected floating pieces, granted only three really, and two I can kind of squish together into one. Not too much else to say at the moment, so...thats it.

Have you built this or one of my other models? Feel free to let me know how hard you thought they were!

Hi. I would like to know if by any chance you have the Greyhound file available in pdo and if you can send it to me to be able to make a piñata since I dedicate myself to that, thank you very much

Is there a way to make a Dogmeat version of this? :XD:
Like, should I just darken it in Photoshop, or what..?

I suppose you could...

so, i tried making this one. its kinda easy, but i had problems with the smaller parts like the feet, the lower parts of the legs, and ears... any tips for me on how to build the smaller parts whitout crushing them, somehow destroying them, or not being able to see what im doing?

Mmm, I think the way I did these was I used an unfolded paperclip or a toothpick or something to help hold tabs in place inside the smaller pieces...
Looks good so far though!

WOW. This is amazing! Both the image inspiration and the papercraft remind me of the greyhound I grew up with myself.
She was the best friend I ever had. As soon as I get a working printer, I'm doing this papercraft first in memory of her.
You totally rock for coming up with something like this. You've made my day ^^

Hehe aww thanks. I want to do one of my other dog, a little shih tzu, but hes a giant fluff ball, and it's hard to get a feel for where his body actually is. I didn't realize how small he was until the first time I had to give him a bath and all that hair got matted down.
