Nice work. Thanks for sharing this pdo.

I was looking for a Pepakura for the 10 mm Pistol. I'll settle for the combat shotgun, if I can't find one though.

I think I remember someone saying something about using that expanding foam in a can to fill the inside of these to re-enforce them.
billybob884's avatar
mm, well you can try it if you like, don't let me stop you. i've no experience with anything like that though

it's that expanding foam used to fill cracks in bricks and cinder blocks and whatnot. it even comes with a little straw tube
billybob884's avatar
right, i'd just be a little worried about it being too heavy duty for paper

It would probably be good to do up a test first. like a simple cube out of the paper you were working with. then fill it and see if it warps or just turns to slop.

well, give it a shot, see what happens

Oh, this is gonna be great with my costume 8D
billybob884's avatar
Mmm, not unless you use heavy duty cardstock. As good as my model may look, its only copy paper, so its pretty much display only.

I was thinking about using card board on the inside of the gun to make it sturdier, while using card stock to make the gun...well, look like the gun.
