Summer 2012
I had a great spring and summer this year traveling and going to more cons and appearances than I have in years! We went to three Chicago shows (C2E2,  Wizard World, Zurko Promotions All-Night Flea Market),  Derby-City Con in Louisville Kentucky, Motor-City in Detroit, and of course our trip of a lifetime to Lyon, France and the comic shop COMICS ZONE. It will be hard to beat all that.

I finally started using my COMICARTFANS (CAF) gallery, including their COMIC ART SHOP for a large selection of my art for sale. Some which is not on in my eBay Bill Reinhold Inner-View Gallery Store.  Right now besides my own art I also have art by others including, Gene Colan & Al Williamson, Jorge Zaffino (ends 9/13), Rick Leonardi & Kent Williams, and Mark Bagley & Williamson.

•This is a short film directed by Alex Ross and featuring the characters of the Marvel series EARTH-X.

In early 2012 I did extensive on screen art BOOMSTICK FILMS Horror/Comedy DOCTOR SPINE! Written and directed by John Wesley Norton. DOCTOR SPINE stars Michael Wexler, Larry Thomas, Joe Estevez, Reggie Bannister, Jen Schmidt, Kris Desautels, Cyn Dulay, Renee Domenz, Xango Henry, Judy Tenuta, Lisa Loring and many others.
I've uploaded much the art I did for the film both in the black and white inked original version and the final digital color I did for each piece. All together in a DOCTOR SPINE GALLERY

Visit the Bill Reinhold Inner-View Gallery Store
for many great examples of comic art I've been part of through the years.

Commissions fortunately are pretty full up right now but anyone interested can still be put on my list for when time opens up.
e-mail me at and I will send details for pricing on various types of drawings from head sketches to color scenes.

One of my very favorite (if not favorite) comic and newspaper strip artists is FrankRobbins!
Frank Robbins' work on his newspaper strip creation "Johnny Hazard", and comic book characters Batman, and the Shadow continue to amaze me.
I wanted to make it easier to share with others a lot of his art so I put together a gallery of pieces gathered on the net, etc. through the years. This gallery is made up of art that he penciled and inked from the 1940's to the 70's.…
If you already love Robbins take a look and if you don't know it PLEASE take a look! Enjoy!

I loved your art for sale. Especially the painted pieces that you had. But I had a question about that Zaffino Conan piece. Did he use a lot of marker or was it mostly brush...

I'm not aware of Zaffino ever using marker. Definitely not on the Punisher and Conan pages I had. He used pen, brush, razor blades and white out.
He worked on a very smooth vellum and sometimes the ink grayed out which may have given the appearance of marker. If that's why you asked.

Yeah I did asked because of the faded looking ink. But in any case that is a great page...too bad Zaffino was an artist artist. Hell when I was a kid and he was doing stuff with Chuck Dixon I thought his art was bad. What did I know?

Funny how we change our thought's on art when we get older and know better what we're looking at.

Glad to hear you had a cool spring and summer. Also, it was fun meeting you at the Motor City Comic Con.
Next time I will be sure to dig up a few of my old Punisher comics for you to sign.
