This is my contribution to the Sixth Annual MALEFICIUM Dark Art Exhibition. www.kosartgallery.com/
I see this piece as sort of a Twilight Zone scene featuring a WWII U.S. soldier in the Philippines suddenly finding himself surrounded by U.S and Japanese troop zombies.

finally! a picture that actually focuses on another theater of war OTHER than Europe, the most overrated piece of scheisse to ever grace the media. DIE, IMPERIAL CORPSES FROM HELL!

Thanks Andrew! I hope to do more of that, only without zombies.

Thanks! I've been working on a true WWII story based in Manila and the Philippines, so I've been researching that part of the war a lot. There are many untold stories from that part of the war.

Definately a breath of fresh air compared to the other comic re-interpretations I have seen. Kudos :D

Man, such depth; this is great! I especially love your command of negative/white space.
