Inked Adventures Map and Dice Playing Cards (poker size) for fantasy tabletop games.
I took a big risk recently and started getting my Map & Dice Playing Cards bulk printed. The original designs were "Bridge" sized and available as print-on-demand from DriveThruCards, but the international shipping costs and printing delays were depressing me and disappointing customers. I re-jigged the design to meet poker card dimensions and threw some savings at printing company here in the UK and hey presto, I am now a stockist of my own cards.
The notion behind the cards is to combine dungeon geomorphs (hand-drawn, my own designs) with substitute dice randomisers (d20, d6 and d%, the numbers err slightly to "criticals" by the way) but also packaged as normal playing cards (which incidentally have many uses in role-playing games). They were designed with old-school players of early editions of Dungeons & Dragons in mind.
The playing cards sold surprisingly well to customers at the UK Games Expo in Birmingham this year (2017), and I'm now supplying stock to other traders.
The geomorphic maps were hand-drawn on paper for an earlier project. The suit symbols were finger-drawn in Procreate/iPad, some colour and layout was done in GIMP on PC.

At the time of posting this, we're still having some issues with PayPal buttons on the Inked Adventures site, so Etsy is currently the main way to buy them directly from me.
I don't check back here as much as I'd like, so please direct queries to me at email@example.com
