Just like to say thanks for all the new favorites and watches over the last four months. Sorry I havent replied to them I've been really busy since July.

Check out my new website at

Let me know what you think of it!
Thanks for the faves, watches and everything everyone.

Most appreciated!
Thanks to everyone who fav'ed and watched me over the last couple of months!

I've been busy with some commissions and also looking for work, but I'm hoping to get an entry into the CGTalk B-Movie compo before the deadline (I was too late on the secret agent one).
Thanks for your faves and watches, sorry that I haven't got round to thank you all one by one as I normally do. I'm taking an art break at the moment to concentrate on some more pressing issues, but I hope to be back and commenting, faving and all that stuff in the new year!

Merry xmas and a happy new year to you all!
I was wondering which art sites people post at (other than here) For myself I post here, Epilogue, Art Wanted, Elfwood and occasionally digitalart, cgtalk and gfxartist.

I'll be intrigued to know where you do your posting?
:iconmetalsnail: I first saw Andreas's artwork at Epilogue and he has a very unique style and vision.

Go Checkout his DA pages and see a very unique artist's work.
First of all, Daily Deviation Wow! thanks soo much. Really unexpected because the Toast Noir is a few years old now! It's gonna take me some time to reply to comments now, but I'm so made up I probably reply to them all!

I need some advice, what is the best way to photograph a painting/drawing? My attempts all seem really awful even if I try barrel correction I still get skews all over the place.

I'm not a great photographer so if there's shutter speeds and stuff to make things better I wouldn't have a clue! My camera's a Samsung Nv5 by the way - any advice is appreciated believe me!!
I don't often buy drawing related books, I have a few Anatomy books and a few technique books for drawing and painting, I tend to buy artwork books more often than not. However, I recently purchased a book called FORCE Dynamic Life Drawing for Animators by Michael D Mattesi - I bought it thinking it might help me improve my life drawing skills, but it's turning out to be so much more!

I can't really describe it because I haven't finished reading it yet, but I must say it leaves me very excited about drawing. It's not like any art book I've ever read before!!

Has anyone read this one, or maybe even another drawing book that takes you in an unexpected direction?
My new years resolution is to try and paint more traditional work, find a stable career and lose some weight!

What's yours?

Thanks for all your comments, your favorites, devwatches and everything.

I appreciate it very much, especially at this moment in time. I'm only sorry I haven't been able to reply or interact over the last few months.
