Stripes continued to run step by step into the unknown. The Utahraptor had not stopped to see if the two angry Dacentrurus were still after her or not. Stair by stair. Step by step. Only to end up in another dimly lit corridor. Only there did Stripes stop to shake her feathers briefly and then look back hesitantly. But there was nothing behind her. No heavy footsteps, no deep snorting. She was alone, for Helen and Worm had not followed her here, although in Stripes' eyes they had seemed quite territorial to the Utahraptor. Strange. Apparently the respective dinosaurs always stayed on their level instead of exploring this complex further.... it went through Stripes' mind while she was still looking back But that also means there could be other dinosaurs down here.... She shuddered briefly at this thought and shook herself again before looking back down the corridor. It was only dimly lit by a single lamp, which made the whole scene even more eerie. Stripes would never admit it, but the further she descended the steps into the unknown, the faster and more panicked her heart beat in her chest. Finally, on the next landing, she stopped and glanced briefly up at the steps she had just left behind. But apart from her heartbeat pounding in her ears, the Utahraptor heard nothing. She was alone, and although she had pretended to be brave and fearless in front of her new friend Ruth, she now wished she had listened to the Albertosaurus' advice and never gone down those stairs. Stripes did not know why she had run. As chaos erupted around her and the fire ate its way deeper and deeper into the jungle like a hungry beast, she had jumped up and fled the greedy flames as fast as she could. She hadn't thought long about where to run. Her instinct had simply been to run. Run, run, run. Further and further away from the flames and towards the mountain. Towards the entrance of a cave that suddenly opened up like a black, gaping maw in front of Stripes and finally swallowed her. The Utahraptor plunged deeper and deeper into the cave until Stripes' steps became slower and slower and she finally stopped, her flanks quivering. She was safe here, for there was no heat or flames or choking smoke. But Stripes didn't know where exactly she was. She thought she knew every corner of the island. But this cave was completely unknown to her. It wasn't even a cave, she realized on closer inspection. Instead of a cave, she seemed to be in a tunnel. A tunnel that seemed endless as

The sun shone softly and warmly on the green scales of the Utahraptor, making them glisten slightly in the daylight. It was a nice and warm day, perfect to spend some time on the beach. Dango had thought so too, first racing the waves while the salty sea air blew around his snout before the Utahraptor finally found a nice and cozy spot for himself to settle down in the warm sand. There he rolled contentedly, enjoying the feel of the warm sand on his scaly skin, until the cry of the seagulls startled him. Actually, there was nothing unusual about this sound, because Dango had heard the gulls screaming all the time since he had come to the beach, but on the other hand, this time the sea birds sounded more excited than usual. And then there was this strange sound. Clack, clack, clack. Again and again Dango heard it among the excited cries of the seagulls and slowly but surely he became more and more attentive. Citali growled softly to herself as the purplish Carnotaurus with the spiky appearance roamed the empty and deserted streets of the city. The gray pavement of the road felt rough and unnatural under her feet and claws, and the smells here, too, were also so different. Somehow so old, stale and dead. Not as fresh, strong and alive as in the wilderness. The female Carnotaurus really didn't like to roam through the ruins of the city, but she had to cross them once or twice on her wanderings to new hunting grounds. While there was food here, it was mostly just rats or stray cats. Nothing that was really worth the effort or the taste. But she had also heard rumors from other dinosaurs that there was still some human food left here in those ruins. A fact that interested Citali a lot. The feeling of the sun's warmth woke Takoda from his nap. It had been a nice and long nap. With dreams about the tastiest berries or leaves the Styracosaurus could even dream of. But sadly all the delicious food was gone, when he lazily opened his yellow eyes to look around, whilst yawning. He was chilling at one of his favorite places during spring time - a beautiful meadow with lush grass and pretty colorful flowers everywhere - that wasn't too far away from a nearby waterhole. The waterhole, where he often went to drink or probably roll around in the mud or dust for fun. Takoda was a simple dinosaur, with a simple mind and he was lazy. He never wandered far or he hardly did anything else than eating, sunbathing or sleeping. Probably the reason, why he hadn't had many friends as other dinosaurs might think of him as lazy or boring. Monthly Prompt - Rare Sighting for my boy Takoda :3 He discovered a pitcher plant and tried to nom it, which isn't such a good idea XD Slowly Takoda made his way up the hillside, briefly stopping dead in his tracks to admire some pretty or colorful flowers here and there.
