Depardieu speedpaint by BikerScout Depardieu speedpaint by BikerScout
I wanted to create something in my usual black & white, high contrast style, but without spending oodles of time.
I'm so impatient sometimes...

Solid brushes only, no eraser and just two layers one for the face, one for the hair. This piece took 1 hour & 27 minutes.

:bulletred: 8x10 @ 150dpi

I'm curious, why 150dpi?

It stops me from getting too caught up in tiny details. I'm a stickler for that usually - I wanted to really loosen up for this one. And it worked, hence the 90 minutes. :aww:

If I know there is a chance the piece will ever get printed, I work at 300dpi. 150 is a happy medium. :aww:
