Kreate-a-Kaiju entry: Daihydra by BigJohnnyCool Kreate-a-Kaiju entry: Daihydra by BigJohnnyCool
Here's my entry for the Kreate-a-Kaiju contest :icongodzillasamurai: is hosting, wish me luck!

Height: 100 meters
Wingspan: 145 meters
Mass: 32,000 tons

A monster of unrelenting rage, Daihydra hails from a vast region in outer space and had arrived on Earth many, many years ago to feed on the human population. During it's time of nourishment however, a volcanic fissure had opened up from underneath Daihydra, swallowing up the beast and to prevent it from ever surfacing again, the humans had buried the wide fissure and Daihydra was trapped underground forcing him into centuries of hibernation.

Thousands of years later, another earthquake had come about unleasing the seven-headed, reptilian kaiju upon the earth once more. Daihydra, enraged by the suprise attack vowed revenge on the humans and soon resumed it's bloodthirsty feast on human flesh. Only the might of Godzilla, King of the Monsters can bring down this titan of terror...

Because of his huge size and several heads, Daihydra is known for his potenial and destructive raw power. Capable of crushing steel with the jaws with even one of his tiny heads and crushing material 5x harder than steel with his center head, Daihydra proves a constant threat to the humans. His massive wings are also quite powerful, able to generate winds an access of Mach 3. Daihydra's high-pitch screech could also be used as an attack. If it's center head shrieks it could disrupt any electrical frequencies.

Not only interested in human flesh, Daihydra also seeks energy from electrical resources on the earth. Once drawing up enough energy from the resource does Daihydra recieve extrordinary but destructive electric abilities such as the devestating bolt of elecrticity that the center head can fire from it's mouth at will. Along with that attack does the bite from any of the 7 heads become supercharged with an electric shock it comes with wherever he'll bite his opponent. As one more feature to this behemoth does it come with it's obvious ability of flight with it's wings

However despite all these abilities, Daihydra does have some weaknesses. Because of his huge body and structure, Daihydra is prone to crawling and could easily be evaded by a quick enemy. It's slimy, smooth skin is also a weak point to enemies with sharp claws or spikes. Also despite having wings, prolonged flying (on earth) is almost impossible as his huge body is too heavy to carry in the air to such an amount of time. A major weakness for Daihydra is that he can't swim, as his wings are too big and his arms are too small to properly swim right.

- Can fire a bolt of lightning from it's center head
- Shriek that can disrupt electrical frequencies
- Can cause an Electrical discharge from it's bite from any of the 7 heads,
- Capable of flight both on earth and interstellar

Here's some more sketches on him - [link]

Here's a draft version of what he use to look like - [link]

I really like the heads and neck, but i do think the arms could use a teeny bit more muscle, and maybe you could add a teeny bit more detail to the body. Just a suggestion though. Oh, and the lighting on the heads is cool, except why doesnt the second tail have a shadow as well?

Seems to me you have a decent piece of art now, but if you spruced it up a bit, it could be really REALLY good. But you don't have to listen to me if you don't want to.

Didn't you just read what I said? "It's slimy, smooth skin," I really don't think I'll need much detail for somethin' that's smooth.

You didn't even pay attention to any of my other critiques.
