Hanna-Barbera vs. Disney by BigJohnnyCool Hanna-Barbera vs. Disney by BigJohnnyCool
Here's another Hanna-Barbera Godzilla pic for everyone.

This time the Kaiju King faces off against one whale of a problem, and that whale is none other than Monstro the Whale from Disney's Pinocchio.

Also, here's the first HB Godzilla pic with a backround in it... Enjoy!

I'd really like to see that fight; but for some reason I feel like Zilla (Gino) would be a better choice. That's the first time I've ever said anything like that.

Awesome! Monstro really gives whales a bad name, Godzilla can kick his fluke any day! Keep up the good work. :D

My brother has the same opinion for "Pinocchio", I consider it O.K. but not one of the greatest Disney has come up with. That's also why if there was a "Top 11 Disturbing Animated Films", I'd place it as number 8.

Please Johnny, there are worse Disney movies then Pinnochio, like Cars for instance.

And The Jungle Book
And 101 Dalmatians
And Aladdin
And Alice in Wonderland
And so on
and so on
and so on

Disney's movies are mostly full of crap, but Pinocchio (and The Jungle Book) are the worst on my list...

I know the kids today think it's cool to blast Disney on the net to make it seem like they're cool and have "real" taste in animation, but I call BS on that.  The Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin and others were awesome Disney flicks that had beautiful animation and wonderful award winning musical scores. As a kid I used to get lost in Disney films as well as Dream-works animations as well. Pinocchio was one of my favorites growing up and still is now and I'm in my 30's. Yeah I'm old as hell, but one is never too old to enjoy a good cartoon or Disney flick.

Although I posted that comment years ago... Admittedly, I have lightened up towards Disney over the years after seeing just how good their classic films are in comparison to a lot of crap nowadays. However I still cannot bring myself to watch Pinocchio or the Jungle Book, but now it's mostly due to nightmare fuel.

Naw naw naw, the Jungle Book was cool. True, some of the music made me ill, but it was otherwise an enjoyable adventure. As for Alice in Wonderland, I'm not that much into surealism myself, but that film has become some what iconic so it must have done something right. Otherwise I agree with you for the most part.

That could be one of Godzilla's most epic monster battles yet. Now what's next is to make Godzilla face that Rhino cloud from James and the Giant Peach.
