I know this stuff is emotionally harrowing to draw and relive, but as someone going through a very similar work environment in a different industry, it would mean a great deal to me to see the next installments of In Waiting. I'm trying desperately to get myself out of my current work situation but need the reminders that I'm not crazy, a bad person, or deserving of what I'm being given. I've already been through a few nervous breakdowns, and both my health and marriage are suffering. Reading these comics have been somewhat cathartic for me, and I am thankful for what I've already read.

I haven't been able to get back to these strips yet, but I did write out the conclusion in a SometingAwful forums post: [link]

(Just FYI, if you're not a member there's a swearing filter, so "fuck" = "gently caress", "shit" = "poo poo", etc XD)

I do still have a few strips I want to draw, though. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get to them.

I hope things look up for you soon. You're not alone. *hug*

As someone going through a very similar work situation in a different industry, it would mean a lot to me to see more installments of In Waiting. I totally get that it's emotionally harrowing to draw these and effectively relive what happened, but I think there's a lot of people out there that take solace in reading these, and it brings them hope and a reminder that they're not crappy employees or otherwise deserving of what happens to them. Reading these has been cathartic so far, and it would really help me keep things in perspective as I try to get myself out of this dark dark place.

Some of the single most enjoyable stories I've had the grandiose pleasure of reading.
