To help Others that may of/is like meI grew up in a pretty good household. But at some point it grew very controlling.
But I wanted to share some info to help people who have been in such situations or still are in these situations.
The main goal is recognizing when it's too much. Everything feels like a lot when it happens, but you have to look at it from an outside angle. From afar, not when you're feeling like you do in the moment.
The following page is from Seattle Times News. The page describes what is too much. It also describes what is labled as "emotional inscest". But keep in mind not every case is as serious as this. Mine wasn't to that extent, but mine was to the point of being controlled as if they were entitled to me like their own personal object. But they didn't throw me around like an object. But if I did something that was seen as human, A mistake, it was the end of the world.

What I'm Thankful for..I am thankful for all of you guys. Especially my active watchers. You guys help me keep going, even when times get rough. The days I feel like my art isn't very good, there's some of you guys who just always prove me wrong. I wanted to thank all of you guys, and a special thanks to select people who have truly helped me with my art, and life.
And now, I thank all of you guys who have continuously supported me, and I hope you continue to, with a special thanks to these people,
I thank you for all the comments you leave me. Of all the things you've done, all your commenting is one of my favorite. It's hard for me when I hardly get people to comment. And I've always appreciated it, even the times I may of forgotten to reply, or missed your comments. No matter what I always read them. In fact, you may like to know when I am feeling down in the dirt about my art, or unmotivated, I enjoy reading all the comments you left me. So, I thank you. For everything you've d

A probable solution to commission chargebacks.Artists who create commissions know one caveat with accepting PayPal: their Seller Protection doesn't cover services, so they can and will be SOL if the buyer decides to dispute the transaction. While Buyer Protection doesn't cover services either, PayPal is notorious for ruling in the favor of the buyer, so the seller needs to look into other ways of protecting themselves.
Which leads to our discussion here, of how we can leverage Seller Protection to ensure scamming buyers can't run off with the money after the service is completed -- by converting your commission service into a tangible product.
Seller Protection covers tangible products that can be shipped to the buyer, and by making a commission, you can take advantage of this by printing out your commission and mailing it to them. Right there, you have a tangible, physical item that is mailed to the buyer, and thus is covered by Seller Protection.
Adjust your commission information and terms of service to indicate the buyer is pu

The 100 Themes ChallengeThe 100 Themes Challenge
We know there a few clubs out there now supporting this challenge.
However, many of those clubs are inactive or having troubles. So, we decided to create an 100 themes challenge club that supports the original list AND 4 other variations meaning we should have something for everybody.
For those who don't know, allow me to explain.
The 100 Themes Challenge is a project where you are given a list of 100 words/themes to create pieces on up untill you complete the whole list. And there is no time limit! Its a good job because this can take ages to complete. Not a very good challenge for the impatient I must admit. And you can complete this challenge in whatever medium you want. That includes poetry and prose. You don't have to stick to one medium throughout. You use whatever you like and you don't have to do the list in order either!
And, if you had fun completing it the first time, you can go try another variation and try another list all over again!
How to Host a ContestI love contests. As much as I like entering contests, I love hosting contests even more. Here's a guide to help you host your own contest. =]
Pick a theme for your contest. Your theme can be as vague as a general photography contest, or something specific such as a monochrome contest. Be creative and use your imagination as themes of a contest can be anything.
Although I'm a photographer, I personally like holding contests that allow all mediums (traditional art, digital art, literature, ect.) to enter because I find it more fun when a larger audience is allowed to participate.
What's a contest without prizes? While you don't need extravagant prizes to host a good contest, I think it's fair to say that the more prizes the merrier.
It's a good idea to get a few prizes before actually announcing the contest. I'm sure to a bunch of members on this site, the prizes are the most alluring part of a contest and announcing a contest without any pr
Using HTML on deviantART
Hello and welcome to my little html tutorial. I've been working with html codes for a couple of years and I'm going to teach you what I know about using some basic html on deviantART. This won't make you a html expert or something and I'm not an expert myself but it will give just enough knowledge to make your journals, comments, news articles and other neat and lovely looking.
deviantART actually has FAQs about html but I still wanted to do this because they look a bit unorganized, in my opinion. Also, why would you want to look for those FAQs when you can just open this news article where you have everything in one place?
You may already know some of these, but I hope you'll find at least something helpful in this news article.
Some basic html

Adoptables, Basics for AdoptersSince I've been asked these questions a lot, I thought to write some journals about it. This is from an Adopter's point of view.
What are adoptables?
Adoptables are "designs" that you can purchase for your personal use or, in specific cases and only if the original artist permits it, for commercial use. They can be animals, humans, objects... Anything and everything can be turned into an adoptable.
What exactly *is* it that I'm adopting?
You're adopting the *design* itself, not the colours, not the art, just the character design.
Take this adoptable:
Art = The drawing itself = Right remains to the artist, unless stated otherwise
Original Species = The lines = Right remains to the artist, unless the species is for adoption too (Not valid in case of existing species such as wolves, cats, etc....)
Colouring = Black coat/Golden wings/Pattern on Tail = Right remains to the artist
Design = (Original Species + Colouring)
The Chat Network :: Lesson 2Lesson 2
After creating your chatroom you probably want to customize and personalize it.
In this lesson we'll we walking through an example of customizing a chatroom and looking at some common strategies in setting up your privclasses and privileges. The hypothetical chatroom I've created is called #Oreos and is a chatroom for everyone who loves eating tasty Oreos!
Remember that in order to modify privileges or privclasses you either need to be in a privclass with the +admin privilege, or you must the original creator of the chatroom.
As we saw in the last lesson, the default privclasses when you first create a chatroom are: Founders, Operators, Members, Guests, and Banned.
These names don't describe tasty oreos though so let's rename them. The /admin rename privclass OldName to NewName command will change the name of a privclass:

PE: Add Media: A GuideAdd Media: A Guide
So, a while ago, deviantART announced a revamp on the comments feature, which included the brand new feature "Add Media". Add Media was also announced for journals at an earlier date.
Add Media is fairly simple to use, but there are a few features that I wanted to point out in this article that not everyone might know of, from adding custom emoticons that the community makes, to adding sta.sh item thumbs directly into comments and journals. I will go over each section in this article.
Let us begin!
So, when writing a comment, you will see a button that says "+Add Media", click that, and a side panel should show up. If you are writing a journal, it should already be there.
