City ... by berzelmeier City ... by berzelmeier
... that doesn't sleep :pc:

Btw, it's an 8bit 5.25'' floppy controller from the early 80s ;P

:o whoah! You have a crazy mind. Love how you made the connection between the similarity of a city and a controllers chip.

 I pulled it off, hold it against the light, and well ... I made a stand for it, and now it's a nice skulpture (because it's old fashioned copper & golden epoxy plate - I reduced the color on the pic - not that ugly modern green electronic stuff) ;-)

it's just so hard to think of what i could be shooting indoors... when i'm also at the same time trying to get my life back on track...
i've been unemployed for a whole YEAR, you see. and i've kind of forgotten how the real world is.
i've forgotten what waking up everyday entails... getting dressed, making my bed, eating healthy, brushing my teeth... simple shit like that. and thought it may sound childish and extremely almost like i'm a special needs kid... i dunno... it's hard to explain how i got so fucked up 0.o
i've been living with my boyfriend for that year, you see. pretty much only been sitting around drinking and playing tf2 and counter strike. everyday basically. with that much insight into the world of fantasy... i'm not surprised my mind is so messed up.

but anyway. soo... i took a few pictures about a week ago of this little antique box i got from my grandmother... however, my camera is completely out of battery... and i can't upload them with dead batteries. so i'm waiting for my mom buy some more (batteries are expensive!!!). think she went to the store yesterday... hmm...

so yeah. we shall see how those turn out. i didn't have a distinct feeling they would be any good. we shall see though.

 that's exactly what I meant with ' pics are talking' on that other account (but psssst ...) :paranoid: see, about all my real life friends could have written that comment (and do mail me things like that on a daily basis), and I start pushing them a bit to make them relize what's wrong, that is it's not their fault, but they just don't fit into the system because they can't 'grow up' (I'm talking about myself too) - but once realized one can't play normal life there are lots of things one can do, because there are millions of that kind all over the globe (not just artists) who live sorta outsisde the system ... first thing is to make clear what YOU would really like to engage for and do on a daily basis (ie. dream, exclude what people and family expects you to do), and then try - you're still young enough to try lots of things  I could provide you with an endless list of things one can start with, ie. this started some days ago around here [link] too late now, but just to open your mind - go explore your region (perhaps on the internet first) if you don't wanna move that far ;-)

well. the only thing i can think i might actually enjoy doing is maybe... becoming a full time photographer. i want my own dark room. all the equipment and chemicals.... and i want some badass cameras to go along with it.
but i don[t have the money or the means for this. and to even think about how to make this happen gives me a SPLITTING headache. it seems so unreachable.
just finding a job seems impossible....
not to mention, even if i do get all those things, how will i support myself? i think a job thrown into the mix with the photography would just stress me out. not to mention take valuable shooting time. like, i'd have to work on a day that would be PERFECT lighting, or something along those lines.
i don't think i could live off selling my photos. even if they would sell.... which i don't think they will....
UGH. i'm just cycling in a current of impossibilities.

btw, i found an old picture of mine that i messed around with to make half-way decent. i hope you likey...

 of course you can't do things on your own, you need a group of people (community) to work and perhaps even live with (for us ' post hippies' that's a quite normal thought, lol ...), but if you can't stop thinking about the future and what 'might happen' (I hear your mother talking, lol ...) you'll finally have to do a therapy (which is mostly time waste because it doesn't help in the long run) :cuddle: see, now you do and earn about nothing, so it can't get worth ... so first step would be to find someone to work with (= helping a professional photographer), but perhaps it's not the photography business (!) you should start with, you probably wouldn't like it, but there's lots of other stuff in the art and media you could start with, but it depends on the people/community ... I predict you can't work more than one day with people you don't like (I could, but I found out that's unnessecary stress I don't want to have - no one should) ;-)

... if you note me where you live (just the area) I may check some possibilities - just for fun - I must confess I'm a bit busy these days  I bet it's the new year, lol ... but 'til the end of the week it'll surely calm down to normal procastination level :giggle:
