BERESAAD'S TOP 10 GAMES
*meme by DarkJak: [link]
This was a doozy. I actually wrote out a Top 100 list, so these are the top ten I came up with.
*10: WARCRAFT III: REIGN OF CHAOS*
Thank you, Blizzard, for crafting (hehe pun) the best strategy game ever made. The variety of units, strategies, and maps is endless, not to mention the fantastic editor, which allows you to custom-make campaigns, maps, and units. Blizzard! Make Warcraft IV! You know you want to.
*9: PAPER MARIO & THE THOUSAND-YEAR DOOR*
Simply put, the best game available for the Nintendo GameCube, which, as you should know, is the greatest console ever created. TTYD's mix of fanciful Mario platforming and frantic RPG turn-based battles is an instant win. The companions and bosses are memorable and the whole package is an excellent, fun ride.
*8: MASS EFFECT*
I haven't even finished the game yet, but I already know it's a masterpiece. BioWare does it again with phenomononal graphics, dialogue, and story. Let's not forget about the characters, ranging from awesome (Wrex, Garrus) to well-written (Liara) to absolutely awful (Ashley). The shooter-esque gameplay is just the icing on top of an already massive cake.
*7: BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM*
By this point, everyone knows that BAA is the best comic-book game ever created. The voice acting is beyond top-notch, the writing and story are great, and the game itself is a fantastic mix of beat-em-up brawler combat and heart-pounding stealth sequences. Added to that is a mountain of secret goodies to find hidden around the asylum.
*6: THE ELDER SCROLLS IV: OBLIVION*
While highly degraded for it's dated graphics, game-breaking glitches, and genuinely bad combat system, Oblivion is still of the best games I've ever played. The level of freedom and non-linear structure is enough to garner a perfect 10. Creating a character and stepping out into the massive province of Cyrodiil is one of my favorite gaming moments.
*5: ASSASSIN's CREED: BROTHERHOOD*
While not as good as II, Brotherhood built upon the sequel's massive scope, by including a single, arbitrarily large city full of collectibles, missions, and assassination targets. Building an order of assassin trainees was an absolutely perfect system, and let's not forget the memorable War Machine segments and the top notch quality DLC: The Da Vinci Disappearance.
*4: ASSASSIN'S CREED II*
One of the first games for my PS3, after Assassin's Creed 1 of course. Assassin's Creed II takes everything good about AC1 and keeps it, and takes everything bad about it away or improves it to the point where playing AC1 again is nearly impossible. The combat, mission structure, parkour, and collectables have all been improved by a ridiculous amount. Not to mention the easy trophies and fantastic storyline and acting.
*3: STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC*
The first BioWare RPG I've ever played. Damn, this game is good! BioWare manages to make a Star Wars game good, that itself is a miracle. Couple it with the "BioWare Formula" (read: Perfection) and you have yourself an excellent adventure in a galaxy far, far away. The combat system is solid, as is the deep dialogue system and the party members are fantastic. Am I the only one who likes Carth?
*2: THE SLY COLLECTION*
Hmmm, where to begin. I grew up playing the three Sly games on my good ol' PS2. After picking up The Sly Collection for PS3, I felt inclined to put this on the list instead of taking up three spaces with individual games. These games are perfection: More fun combat than Ratchet and better platforming than Jak. The first game in particular is a constant parody of Metal Gear Solid, another favorite game of mine. The second game has a surprisingly deep storyline, trading in a worldwide drug trade for "anger spices". The third is the weakest link but still one of the best platformers around.
*1: DRAGON AGE ORIGINS*
M'kay, this is where it's at. I've played hundreds of games and this is easily the best. The best combat system I've ever used, the best script I've ever heard (read?), and the best characters I've ever met are all here. Not to mention the fantastic storyline. I will never forget my tactics-filled journey with Morrigan and Alistair. Simply the best.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
#11: Borderlands

Hi. I saw thus pic on Google and realized that 9 out of 10 of your games match up with my favorites and was wondering which game is next to sly?
