Media: Ink, Marker, White paint pen, partially printed due to clumsiness
I love the new She-Ra cartoon. I loved the 80's cartoon as a child and it will always have a special place in my heart, but I cannot deny that the Netflix reboot is a superior cartoon in pretty much every way.
So, I drew She-Ra. I'm still doing a lot of learning with the Copics. I tried a lot of new things with this drawing and some of them worked, some of them didn't work out quite the way I hoped. Also her arms still look too short despite my adjusting them repeatedly in the sketching and also the inking stages (due to a series of mishaps, I ended up inking this more than once. And then even managed to ruin the line art I liked with a careless accident, which means the final colored version was done over printed line art which I had thankfully scanned, because I was just too frustrated to ink it again). Still mostly happy with how it came out, and even more happy that I'm finally done with it because I was beginning to think this was a cursed piece.
She did come out a little Sailor Venus-y, though.
Regarding the title: I am learning Esperanto with some friends for fun, and titling my drawings with it seemed like a way to make myself learn new vocabulary. Maybe eventually I'll be good enough at it to write the whole descriptions in it, because I'm that kind of dork.
