THE PARROT KNEW BUT WOULD NOT SAY Surreal Group Show - Cambridge Centre of the Arts June 26th-July 26th
I'm very pleased to announce I will be participating in a three person surreal exhibition at the Cambridge Centre of the Arts (Cambridge ON) along with Robin Crank and Sean Chappell. The show starts June 26th and runs through July 26th 2014. The opening reception is July 4th, 7-9 PM. I will have over a dozen pieces (new and existing) on display along with the fantastic work of both Sean and Robin. The venue's address is 60 Dickson Street, Cambridge ON. I will post more information as the event gets closer and I hope you get a chance to stop in.
As of late I have been focusing more of my time on illustration and portrait commissions as opposed to gallery painting. If you are in need of traditionally painted work (portraits, personal, book covers, concept and advertising material), please check out my gallery and drop me a line if interested. I am also licensing some of my past work so if you see something that fits your need please get in touch with me to discuss. I can be reached here or at:

Been a busy couple of months around here. Had a show locally about a month ago that went very well. In talks about having one in Baltimore, hopefully the details get ironed out and it happens. Also on my main site you can now purchase work directly, check it out (www.brentschreiber.com). Marketing, marketing, marketing... hopefully get some actual painting in. :) That's enough. :)

Finally popped the cherry and decided to post something up, figured only way you learn anything is if you put some things out there. Just started painting and taking art seriously again in the last couple of months, been an art director for the last ten years and started to find the advertising work getting a little hollow, needed to get back to what I loved as a kid. The plan is to dedicate myself to this for a year and see where it ends up, little bit everyday. Try to focus more on the journey  and not worry about the outcome. Hell, might learn something along the way.
