Right, this is my first ever critique so I'm just going to give it a go. I really like the idea of taking the photo from in the pod, to start off with. As well as the pod below, you can also see some of the frame of the wheel and the city architecture below, as well as the clouds in the sky! I especially like the way the river bends round from the bottom left corner to the midpoint left edge, and you can just about see a slight curve in the horizon. The way some of the buildings in the distance just perk up to the skyline adds a breathtaking effect, I love it! Now, onto the colours; the dull cinema film type colouring effect is beautiful, makes you see the old, industrial side of London. The greeny water looks amazing too - even I as a hydrophobic find it beautiful! Something that grabs my attention is the carpark down below on ground level. It just puts the height into perspective, seeing the tiny little cars below, and the little dots for people. Now, onto criticism. I don't have much for this photo, it's really quite unique and very impressive! Anyway; the angle taken from the pod. I can see that you have taken the photo from the left side of the pod? It would have looked better if you had taken it from the very centre of the pod, so that there was a straight line of the rest of the wheel instead of it coming off from one side. Also, the sky peeking through the clouds is bright blue. I think that the dulled colour effect works really well on the rest of the image, and that it sort of spoils it for me I'm afraid, the brightness of the sky, I think it would be better if it was all in the dulled effect. Overall, I think this is a fantastic photo and I had to search to find points that needed improving! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
