Suspect Rug

When you can't make anything you're happy with for your model to wear, wrap it in a rug, that's what I always say, too... well... what I never say, but I thought it might be humorous in this setting. *grin*

Nice work. You spent a lot of time on your shoes, it seems. Maybe you could highlight them in another post? Just seems a shame to hide what appears to be good work. Nice detail work on the carpet backing as well.
