When Triumph was still very young, his mother was his lifeline. She was never far from him and he from her, and whenever he tired, she supported him with her head or body so that he could rest and breathe the air without struggling to stay at the surface. She stuck close whenever she introduced him to the rest of their pod, but she didn't have any reason to worry. They cut through the water and soared through the air with such grace. Everyone was so happy, so carefree. He was surrounded by friendly faces - friends and family that he would eventually get to know and love and grow up with together.
