Procrastination is a nasty thing. It's taken me way to long to follow up on that last journal! I loved the night hike! I think the only other time I hiked at night was on a backpacking trip at Philmont, NM with my old Boy Scout troop. We woke up at 3am on the last day of a week long trek so we could get the f**k home!. I enjoyed this hike more because this time I wasn't so sleepy and exhausted of walking :D. With my boots tied and my backpack ready to go out the door, my dad asked me what I would do if I ran into a mountain lion, which was a real possibility. I told him I had a knife. He paused with a calculating stare and asked me to follo

Amazing photos. I've tried and failed so many times to get milky way shots! Must keep practicing. These photos are just stunning. Keep up the awesome work!

Thank you! Living in Australia you should have no problem finding an area with a dark sky and no light pollution (one of the reasons I want to travel there so bad!). A lens with the aperture set to f/2.8 or lower, a 1-2 minute exposure, and ISO of 800 to 1600 should give you good results. Good luck!   
Yeh it doesn't take long to get away from the built up areas here! Awesome haha thank you. I do struggle with the settings on my camera a bit but I'll give that a try! thanks x
