The Christian faith the way to salvation, Who ever reads this I hope this helps you out with your journey with God
Also if you are new or old to Christianity and wish to know and understand True biblical doctrine you may want to go to a YouTube channel called BBC International here’s the link youtu.be/a2qYNNCTwVg
and here’s another link youtu.be/tyw5b6kO_sE
they make it easy to understand the Bible may God bless you and be with you 🙏. And if you are wondering how I know Christianity is true that is because of miracles that I had prayed for some of the miracles involved God healing me and saving me from depression and also bible prophecy may God bless you all. Also, the Bible is more than just an ordinary book you get from a bookstore, it is The Word of God:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17
And it is not flawed, or "phoned in", neither is it man-made, regardless of what people will think; it is God's breathed Word. Even John 1:1-14 clearly highlights this.
Some may think to themselves "If God loves all people then surely he will approve of all I do. I think I'm saved.". Wrong. God does love all people which is true, however He does not approve of their sins. And it is essential for one to examine his/herself. There is no conversion without conviction. The Bible tells us:
"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified." ~ 2 Corinthians 13:5
And His Word does not have any grey hair at all.
On the issue of sin...some say there is no such thing as sin. Wrong. There is such thing as sin, and sin is of the devil himself. And sin is not only what separates God away from man, it is what leads people to Hell.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." ~ Romans 6:23
All manner of sin will lead people to Hell. Be it lust, stealing, idolatry, homosexuality, adultery, bestiality, fornication, divorce, murder, profanity, lying, pride, rebellion, self-indulgence, bisexuality, abortion, masturbation, rape, hypocrisy, deceit, transgender, suicide, polygamy, greed, and so on.
But bear in mind that God does not hate the sinners. God does love them, but He hates the sin.
It is very sad that many, even the some of today's Christians, seem to forget that.
And whenever they hear the sound Gospel, they just reject it, and label those who truly stand for God's Word as "intolerant", "homophobic", "bigots", "unloving", "judgmental" and even label them as "the Pharisees".because either they are ignorant, or they actually know the Truth but choose not to say it.
What happens to such people?
"For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." (Luke 9:26)
The Bible describes Jesus as The Word. It is no wonder the Bible says in John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
And to Christians reading this, if anyone rejects God's Word, they are not rejecting you, but rather they are rejecting Jesus Christ himself
If you're a Christian and you are reading this right now, stand strong in God's Word. Never let the devil put you down with the things of the world. Fight the good fight of faith. Flee from false teachers. And we as believers in Jesus Christ must be more concerned of what God thinks of us instead of what the world thinks.
And to any reader reading this, if this describes you, then repent (a change of mind) of your sinful condition, then turn to Jesus Christ and put all your faith and trust in Him of what he did on the cross for your salvation. He died for you.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Kjv.
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21 Kjv.
Also Eternal security is a fact of the Bible; when God saves an individual, He keeps them saved.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
If you have to do anything to remain saved, then that is blatant works salvation. By denying eternal security, you are basically saying that you are taking part in your own redemption. Christ apparently did not pay the full price for your sin, because if you could forfeit your salvation because of sin (willful or not, there's no distinction because it's still sin), then that sin that made you "lose your salvation" was apparently one Christ just couldn't forgive at the cross.
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. (In other words, if you do so much as one work to maintain your salvation, then God owes you salvation; it's no longer by grace. Denying eternal security is denying God's grace.)
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Furthermore, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Denying eternal security is admitting that Christ's love for you is based on your works and your performance. I'm sorry, but that's not at all loving; it's legalism.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Another point is that we are complete in Christ at salvation. We cannot add to our position, nor do anything to take away from that completeness.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Furthermore, denying OSAS denies the hope and peace you are supposed to have as a Christian. If you are constantly at risk of losing your salvation, that's not exactly "hopeful" or "peaceful."
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
And if you just read throughout all of Paul's epistles, you'll see we're admonished to always have peace, joy, and hope. How is this possible if you have the potential for losing your salvation? If I believed that way, I'd be a nervous wreck, waking up in fear every day!
Denying eternal security is not logical. Consider this scenario; let's say a person has committed a million sins by the time they're 80, and then they get saved in their old age after that millionth sin. But then, they "sin willfully" some time after repenting and believing the gospel, so they therefore lose their salvation. Do you mean to tell me that God will save a person after a lifetime of committing a million sins...but then revoke their salvation after just ONE (or perhaps a few, depending on how lenient you are)? I'm sorry, but that seems a bit ridiculous to me. Either God has forgiven ALL of your sins, or He has forgiven NONE of them. Pick one.
