Hey, I just wondered.  Mainly digital artist, but also everybody else.   Every painting I see on here I wonder whether it was done in Painter, Photoshop, Gimp, or whatever.  Also what type of input device you use, Wacom or other.   Not too many people are gonna see this but if you do, would you consider posting your software, and pass this journal on if you agree?
Thanks folks, I hope you all don't think I'm griping, it's just another way for us all to learn from each other.

Collage = irfanview or Ms.paint
Pen input(bamboo) = mypaint (open source)
Attempted math art via (previously pop dA subcategory) winamp avs vis.
Hacked 2 joysticks and made a digital etch-sketch style interface.

Collage play is for learning... joining skatepark photos together then planning the practical navigation path through it.. ..& languages other than english by attaching text labels to ordinary landscapes/interiors&counting objects in the scene

Before the n900 (nokia phone with pen & mypaint) I did much years pen doodles,  going with the digital pen has let me (a total hack/v.ordinary talent/skills) attempt techniques that I would have previously had to set aside a desk/easel/... and buying real paint just 4 a unsure result has always been the reason why I never attempted to get my fingers dirty... digital brushes relieve some of the intimidation of wasting paint in the beginner stage. :statue-polish:
