I've always wondered about life on other worlds. I look up and imagine...Humanoid? I believe God mad "man" in His own image, so I imagine other intelligent life to be humanoid. Certainly they have differences due to the environment. What they are is up to the imagination. Love? I've got to believe it is universal, and probably not "alien" to any of us.
This moon is mainly covered in water, orbiting a gas giant. The blue skin seemed to fit, considering they either spend all or part of their time in the water. The star reflecting on the blue planet gives the moon an overall blue tint anyway.
This is my first official sci-fi piece. There will be more to come. Any similarity to Avatar was unintentional.

Interesting that you believe both in God and alien life. I don't see that often. Myself, while I believe God created life on other worlds, they're probably human like us and on worlds just like Earth. (Of course, He could have created worlds with other variations, since there's no limit to His imagination.) I also believe the other worlds are probably untouched by sin, since Satan was cast to this world and thus unable to spread Sin to the other worlds.

but I'm not here to get into a theological debate, that's all academic at this point anyway. I do like this picture, and the colors you use.

Thanks for the comment JazZeke. I'm not a preacher, and will never intend to, but I am a christian and believe the Bible. To look up at all the stars and galaxies in the night sky and think that God would not use any of it is a bit too easy and, to me, naive. I've had some interesting and sometimes scary conversations with other christian friends in the past on this subject. I've also kept my mouth shut a lot when the topics come up if it seems it might be too tense. I would've thought a half naked woman with a dude, and not knowing their "marital" status might upset some very conservatives as much as the alien thing. Oh well, I'm content in my curiosity. Thanks again, God bless.

Yeah, it definitely seems like a waste of space not to pu more life out there.

As for the picture's content, I guess I just assumed they were married, heh.
