It was about 7:30 in the evening, it was raining quite hard. I could hear it pummeling the roof and windows of the Tavern Bar and Cafe. Sitting at the bar with a cup of fresh coffee I watched everything, listening intently, nothing entered that restaurant without me noticing it. I began counting everything in sight i was so nervous, that my body began to shake noticeably. I knew what everyone was eating and drinking, how much it cost as well as all the waitresses names. This was off it being the fist time I had ever stopped at this particular food joint, but
