WIP shirt and tie quilt

Another WIP :D. This quilt is made from recycled shirts and ties. Shirts are used for the blocks with the spinning effect, called pinwheels. The ties are used for sashing / borders. Really love the effect the shininess of the ties gives to the quilt

For quilting I am using the buttons from the shirts in the middle of the pinwheels block. My mother had that idea for her own shirt quilt, and I think it is a nice idea to recycle even more. Also I'll quilt a zigzag effect in the sashing. After that I'll see whether I declare this quilt finished or not. Sometimes deciding how to finish one is an evolving process :)
