AFL 2 chapter 39 Part 5

Right after the risky move John and his crew took of crashing his one and only ship into the Silver Knights ship. They had all managed to get into the long boats including V.I.N.cent the family robot and all the little pals the crew mates had. As well as their fighting gear for any Nightmare attacks that may come there way.

John called out to his friends in the two long boats and asked, "Is everyone alright? No injuries to report?"

Everyone said in unison "No Captain!"

John gave a command and waved his hand for them to land on the beach about 30 feet from the mess they made of the two ships. He would miss his Barrix Honor but that was not going to be on his mind at all. His main goal was to save there friend Karin Sohma. Also from possible becoming an Omega Nightmare for the rest of her life.

Once the smoke cleared John and the others could make out 2 figures standing near the shipwreck it was Allen and he was holding Rinaku by force as she straggled to brake free. It seemed she was not using her real mighty strength to get out of Allen Walkers hold, because she did not want to hurt him. Since he was a first class Nightmare and was pretty strong too it was much harder for Rinaku to brake free.

John then said out loud, "Why doesn't she just use bruit force to free herself?"

Takako then answered his question. "Because she made a promise to herself saying she would save both him and Norrick. So she has no means to kill Allen."

John sighed a heavy sigh as he tried to think of what they should do next and fast. In the mean time both Riku, Jim and Lee had to hold Norrick down from trying to go after his brother to save his girlfriend.

"Ugh let me go. Can't you see she needs my help?" Norrick said his voice filled with anger and distress.

"Yeah we see that Norrick. But in order to keep you alive we can't let you go near your crazy brother who wishes to kill you." Riku said through his clench teeth trying to hold him down.

"Like Riku said pal. We are doing this for your sake but not just that your girlfriend too. She doesn't want you dead." Jim chimed in.

Both Lee and Mikey then got on top of Norrick and sat on him while the other 2 boys sat on his arms and legs pinning him down. "Don't take it the wrong way man. But I think Rin would kill us if we did not stop you first."

Norrick stopped struggling, seeing as he was going know were any time soon. He just closed his eyes and prayed Rin would not have to deal with the darkness or a frozen heart much longer. But he then opened his eyes wide when he heard his brother speak to all of them with an evil laugh along with it.

"Ahahaha, you fools the sun has just set. Now its my turn to shed some darkness upon you all." Allen said as he raised his right hand in the air summoning 3 dark portals and out came at least a dozen Nightmares from each portal as they closed up.

The boys got off of Norrick and helped him up to fight off the 2nd class and 3rd class nightmares that was heading there way. Lee pulled out a small laser energy gun John had given to him before hand. While Mikey ran up a near by coconut tree to hit any on coming Nightmares.

Jim pulled out a sword and gave a few swings to make sure he was ready for anything. Riku summoned his keyblade from his necklace and was getting ready for a fire blasting spell. Norrick now standing up held the same sword he had used earlier in the day but had not time to rethink the wrongs he had done. It was now time to fight the enemy.

Rebekah and Sakura looked at each other and nodded together. They summoned there keyblades from there necklaces and got ready for a light spell and a water spell. Meanwhile Toky had gone up the same tree Mikey had been in to help his pal out. Along with Snowball the little cat.

Takako drew out her bow and a wind/thunder element arrow. John had his gunbalde ready in hand to either cut down any Nightmare or shoot em up.

Lastly Karin Rhodon took out her flute and began to play a tone calling up some near by vines to tangle any Nightmares that crossed her or those who needed help path.

The Nightmares waited for Allen's command to strike. He gave an evil chuckle and pulled his hand forward and said, "Go and kill those who intend to take away our Omega Nightmare."

The 3rd class snarled or crocked as they went first for they were the most feral. There must have been about 20 of them. As they lunged forward to the crew mates.

She heard many different sounds coming all at once. Rinaku could not bare to watch as her friends fought to fight to save her. She did not want to see them getting hurt or worse killed. Thus at the same time she was still in Allen's strong hold not wanting to use her bruit like strength that could harm him. If she was to brake free. Allen noticed Rinaku looking away with her eyes closed and winsing in pain every time she heard the sound of a laser gun or a sword being swung.

He then forcefully turned Rinaku's head to watch. "Look at them fighting for you. Look at how every time your friends kill them more come out of the portals I made." Allen said with an evil voice.

"N-no..." Rinaku cried out. "I can't watch please." she bagged.

Allen laughed and then did what he did best manipulate her feelings thus making her feel awful and now forcing her to watch with her eyes wide open. Tears ran down her face as she couldn't stand the sight of it. 20 minuets must have gone by finally before she noticed her friends were starting to grew a little more tired and moving a little slower. Allen was going to make them worn out by the time the Nightmares would over power them.

And what was worse non of them could get close enough to reach her and Allen even once as they fought on doing there best. Takako had ran out of arrows by this point and was using a sword John handed her. Lee was now using a sword too and the friends had to group together too. Another 10 minuets passed and this time Lee pointed out. "John we have to think of a new plan Karin can't play her healing flute much longer to keep us all going."

John looked ticked off to know end as he and the rest of the crew all got together in a cecal around Karin. "The only other thing to do would be is to back down. And I wont let Allen take Miss.Sohma away from any of us!" He said. As he swung his sword at another 3rd class Nightmare cutting it into.

Rinaku was hearing the dark voice in her head again trying to take over once more. "Give up. It's useless now. Your friends will all die at this rate. Your braking point is coming sooner than you thought. So give up. Give up now!"

Not being able to tolerate the voice's words nor what her friends were going through to have to save her a second longer. She used just enough force to only bruise Allen at best. Allen stumbled but was back on his balance in seconds when he saw Rinaku brake free from him.

No longer being able to take the pain and suffering Rinaku cries out and crouches down in the fetal position. Her hands grip her head as she cried and bagged for everything to just stop.

Sakura sees this and runs over to her friend in need before anyone or anything had time to react to what was going on. In fact the Nightmares had all stopped moving all together as if frozen in time for a few moments. Sakura knelt down next to her poor helpless dear friend.

Rinaku feels the warm and kind touch ad Sakura shield's her friend and calls out looking at Allen. "What have you done?!" She looks at Allen with such anger and hurt in her ocean blue eyes.

Then the others even Allen noticed the remaining Nightmares start to retreat and head back into the dark portals and they close up. Allen does not understand what is going on. Nor do the others as they all look tired out and tensed up. Norrick falls to his hands and knees trying to ketch his breath. Lee races to ketch a falling Karin who has fainted from lousing to much energy. And the little pals run back over to the main group. They all turn to look at Sakura and there dear friend who was still crying. Even after Sakura was comforting her.

Just then over a very loud intercom radio call from a surprisingly still somewhat working Barrix Honor came through on the beach. But the signal was rather stat-icky, so it was a bit hard to make out what the message was saying. But enough was heard to know what finally came through.

"Miss.Takako Hiycosh...This newscosh...Miss.Hasper didcosh...itcosh...heartcosh...ing.. Pleaselet...Miss.Sohmacosh...know...newscosh...She iscosh...dead...." The radio signal died after that. And everything seemed to slow down almost to a stop.

Did she hear that right? Did she really hear that correctly? Or was it all some sort of misunderstanding from what she heard just now. Rinaku's eyes went wide and new tears formed in her eyes and she looked up and first looked directly at Takako. With such a painful look Takako never saw her friend make before.

She then looked at everyone from the original crew and lastly at Sakura. Her heart just sank this was her turning point for her. Not only that but her braking point of no return. Rinaku's hands trembled and her face became pale and covered in a cold sweat from what Sakura saw up close.

"It's not true." She said in a whisper that Sakura could only hear at first. Rinaku spoke again, "My sister is dead?" she asked as her voice shook.

She then turned to the others and said with anger and sadness, "My sister is dead...You kept this from me. Why would you keep such a thing a secret from me like this?" she cried.

Her voice cracked and was filled with anguish, "You didn't bother telling me something was wrong with Hasper. I thought you were all my friends yet you kept this a secret from me. For how long have you all known?"

The crew looked down in shame and regret for not telling their friend sooner about what was really going on with Hasper Stone.

Rinaku could no longer take it anymore. She looked over to Allen. Sakura watched as her friend looked into his blood red eyes and nodded to him that she was going to his side. No, Sakura thought she can't go to the side of the darkness. Sakura then grabs Rinaku by the hand pulling it with what little strength she had left in her tired out body.

"Please dont go Rin." Sakura said in a very sad pleading voice to her dear friend.

Rinaku looks down at Sakura but then pulls her up gently by her hands as if she was as light as a feather. She looks at Sakura with many mixed emotions one last time and says in a soft yet painful voice, "It's to late Sakura...My time has run out sooner than I thought it would."
As a tear fall from her cheek. She then lets go of her friends hand and walks over to where Norrick was knelling down.

He looked pale and covered in black Nightmare blood and seat from the battle not long ago. She bends down to reach and hold his face. As she chants out a temporary sleeping spell for him. And just before he falls asleep. She kisses him on the lips one more time and says in a soft sweet voice, "I will always love you."

She lays him down in the sand and then run over to Allen's side hugging him gently as the last bit of forgotten light from within her frozen cold heart flew out of her and in-golfed everyone including her and Allen in a bright white light. It was a sight to see but once it flew past the others it knocked them out in a temporary sleep.

The next thing Norrick knew, he was staring at a white ceiling and he tried to remember what happened to him. It all hit him when him and the others were fighting off the Nightmares but the last thing he really remembered was Rin looking at him holding his face kissing his lips and telling him she would always love him. He then wondered where was she and where the heck was he? 

He looked around the room and saw all the others laying under fleece coated blankets and soft plush pillows. They were all fast asleep mostly to do with that bright white light that came at them. But Norrick did not feel tired or sore anymore from the battle in fact he looked at his clothing and arms and hands they looked as if the bloody messes he kept getting into never happened.

His eyes then shifted to Sakura who was now sitting up she looked confused as he was she was about to cry if he could guess. But when she saw everyone else just sleeping she took a deep breath in and out and was fine again. She then looked at Norrick with wonder as he began to look around the room. It was some sort of living room a big living room to add at that. But the furniture clearly had to be moved to the sides for everyone to fit in the middle like this. The walls had pale cream colored wall paper that had a diamond pattern in for detail. And the ceiling had crowned molding around it. There was a fire going in the fire place and on top of the mantle Norrick saw some photographs and he could have sworn he saw a few that had a very young looking Karin Sohma. He was about to get up along with Sakura when they heard an older mans voice speak up from the main entrance to the living room.

"Ah you two are the first to awaken I see." said the man as he stood there.

Little did Norrick or Sakura, or even any of the others who had yet to wake up knew. They were no longer in the Ethiruem. But in the Real of Light.
