A long time ago I red "Dark elve trilogy" from R. A. Salvatore. I love it, and this is my vision of the dark elve goddess as I remember it.

I read that book too, and this is exactly how I picture the dark elf queen.

Thanks I was not sure of my memory :-)
I really loved those books when I red them, maybe fiveteen years ago, but I've lost them so I will try to buy them once more because I want to read again.

Yes. Actually I have a version where the three book are together in only one, very huge book. You could try ordering the books via internet, like [link] (if you're in europe) and other such websites.
I really admire your technique at doing these... the word fails me, i'm not english either. How did you begin doing them?

I'm looking for a version which is unfortunately not for sale anymore, it was also a huge book with 10 or 15 illustrations in it.

Thanks for the compliments, in fact I start working with wire when I was 15 years old. It doesn't look like what I'm doing now, because wire was only the skeleton of the "real" sculpture. By this time I was creating mainly knights with armor, helmet, sword and everything goes with it. Go see there if you want to see one of the last I've done

I start creating the type of sculpture you can see on DA, maybe ten years ago.

This is so cool!!!!! Remind me of a mantis shrimp with the claws.
Belial28's avatar
Thanks!
In my mind the claws came from "Starship troopers"'s movie, from the arachnids, but it also looks like mantis claws.
a shrimp hybrid, eh why not? :-)

HAHA!!! Starship Troopers. Mantis shrimp actually exist, two types; smashers and slashers. Look them up, they're pretty cool!
