This was one of my favorite games for the NES when I was little. For some reason, I loved the gory visuals and monsters as a kid. Great work, man.

This game in my opinion was one of the scariest of all time. It's grotesque, visceral atmosphere and imagery leaves a lasting appeal on you, especially if you've played it as a little kid during the NES era when even the tiniest amount of blood was forbidden in most games. Constantly looking at pulsating nerves, organs and other organic stuff, the almost perpetual black and red atmosphere, the music, the sound effects, everything about it was almost tailored made to give little kids night terrors. Even to this day I feel uncomfortable playing this game, you've captured it perfectly I think.

I had this game for a short time, as a little kid. My mom sold it because it frightened me to the point of not being able to look at the cartridge without freaking out. :XD: I got over it and bought it again, later, though.

This game just had a quality to it that made it very different from other NES games. Those organic levels really do make for one creepy game.

Reminds me of Zeromus from FF IV, but the NES game was before, so Zeromus could be based on this.

Thanks. A pencil for lines, and good old photoshop for colors.
