CardsForConservation - Grey Wolf

CardsForConservation is a project to raise money for wildlife conservation. Said simply, I'll draw cards, sell them, and the proceeds are given to a selected organization or initiative dealing with protecting wildlife.

For this batch, I'm using my own Doggust Wild Canine Edition Promptlist prompts, and the money will go to the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Programme

The wolf (Canis lupus), also known as the grey or gray wolf, is the largest living species of canine, and is probably the most well-known of all the wild canids. They live in large areas of North America and Eurasia, and more than 30 subspecies are recognized, ranging from the smaller slender wolves of Arabia and India to the Interior Alaska wolf which weighs more than 50 kg. The color also ranges from pure white to more reddish, golden, grey, all the way to black. This variety is because of - and has allowed them to adapt to - a wide variety of habitats and areas.

While the wolf overall is listed as Least Concern, some of the subspecies are critically endangered, and there are still human-wolf conflicts in many areas.
