Chapter 9: More Emerald Hunting
Back at Tails' workshop...
Fortunately, there hadn't been any follow-up visits from the Pirates to the workshop when the trio had returned, so Tails set about tweaking his Chaos Emerald beacon while Danny observed, Donny keeping a lookout for attacks from outside like he had previously. "...Okay, I think that should do it," Tails said as he set his tools down. "Daniel, could you take the Chaos Emerald and set it by the far wall?"
"Sure," Danny nodded, taking the red emerald in hand and carrying it to said wall as directed, then setting it down. "Okay, turn it on."
"Here goes," Tails said as he flipped the power switch, the beacon lighting up, before beeping as it detected the nearby emerald. "Is it being drawn in?"
"Uh..." Danny looked closely at the Chaos Emerald, seeing it glowing a little as it very slowly moved across the floor. "Only a tiny bit," he held
