Suddenly, Sonic began to change. His fur darkened and his pupils glowed brighter red than ever. So bright the rest of his eyes were darkened (or did his eyes darken by themselves?), and so excruciatingly so his eyes started to bleed.

Sonic?: In front of you, silly!
Tails: S-Sonic what-
