Old Friends

For a change from Batman parody strips, I go into more conceptual artworks.

Here, the parallel not only between Batman and (Dick Grayson) Robin's drama who've made them crimefighters but also how they both found reassurance in a futur ally, in the person of Jim Gordon in Batman's case.

I don't know if Gordon comforting an young, orphaned and traumatised Bruce Wayne was from the comics, but I still like the idea. Just to show how strong their friendship and collaboration is.

Ho, and what's in the paper cups is hot chocolate. This is an idea of mine. That in addition of comfort and empathy, Bruce got a hot chocolate from the officer Gordon and did the same years later with a grieving Dick Grayson.
