Pink knew that in order to get Purple on her side she would have to show her proof. She took Purple to the Earth and showed her all the life forms that claimed this planet as their home. Eventually Purple was swayed by Pink's passion and agreed to help her.

I am honestly so proud of myself! I am so proud of that background! I didn't think I had it in me! But, this is just an exert from the fanfic I am currently working on. When Purple was created, she was given the task to help Pink Diamond colonize the Earth. But now that Pink showed her a new side of this planet, things are about to change and not specifically for the better.
