I never did cosplay but was often mistaken, even by some of the media once in a while, as a cosplayer because I appear in character as Zangief at Comic-con, Street Fighter Tournaments and other Street Fighter events. I'm the actor who played Zangief in the series, "Street Fighter: The Later Years", so I'd be appearing as my character whether cosplayers are present or not. It's funny when I get approached by someone who mistakes me for a cosplayer and says, "Dude! You look EXACTLY like the guy who plays Zangief on "Later Years!", LOL. But I still make appearances as The Red Cyclone and will be playing him again in the new series.

I like it a lot, especially when you put your own style into it
