PART II - The Era Of Skarlet Angel - Chapter 16 Victoria was walking in the darkened corridors of an underground facility and laboratory. She had no idea that this was hidden inside the island underneath the mansion. The place was huge. What was it used for? She wondered. She had come down here with one goal in mind, to stop Synergy once and for all. She had to, her withering condition was momentarily slowed down, but not at all completely stopped. She would regenerate when she finished the fight with Synergy. There would be no energy or will power left in her after another exhausting fight. This one could very well tax her beyond her limits in which case she would fully collapse into regeneration. It was a miracle that she was standing, after all she was dead after all.
PART II - The Era Of Skarlet Angel - Chapter 15 Alex and Frank were the hostages of the demented and crazed Synergy. She had taken them through the complex to the power generators that powered the whole island and mansion above. The generators themselves were mostly dead, only a small portable gas operated generator was hooked up to the main power grid, and its fuel was low. Soon, the whole place would be out of power. Her skin was decaying, her hair was falling out, her nails were falling to pieces. Her clothes were in terrible shape, they were all ripped, torn, and shredded to tatters. She was covered in dirt, grime, grease, blood and dead grass. The tree next to her was alive and had fallen within a few feet of her. A smell of burnt flesh and hair was all around her, even a portion of her hair was still on fire. She was a steaming, smoking wreck, a dead body recently fried to a bloody crisp by extreme high voltage electricity. What was, wasn’t anymore, but badly burnt beyond recognition. The corpse twitched. A muscle flexed, or what was left of it. The fingers flexed, made a fist and then opened again. Vast amounts of steam were pouring its way from every little pore and opening on the corpse. A trail of green blood led away from the corpse and formed a nearby puddle
