Update 2: I feel sorry for the discussion about the ribcage. I can assure you that Christa is a beautiful, sporty young woman with absolutely no weight problems. Look at this picture from the same day:

but who cares anyway. Judging art is overrated itself, you know.
I just take pictures, that's all. I really do not care about everything else.
Anyone with just a little anatomical knowledge can attest that the pronounciation of the ribcage in this pose is indeed perfecty normal, and not an effect of an anorectic body.
And i find this to be a well made beautiful picture, with good attention to lighting and detail.
Frankly I think she's obviously not that skinny. Look at her thighs: Round and full. Look at her arms. Obviously they have some meat on them. She's laying in a way that she's stretching with her back arched, and in that position, yes, the shape of most healthy peoples ribcage will show.
And the picture is nice, anyway. The composition and use of focus and contrast, like her clothes/necklace and hair to her skin, or the cold colors in the foreground vs. the warm light in the background, is well enough implemented for it to be art. I think the picture is more about that and the female form by itself rather than trying to say "look at this beautiful, sexy woman." Her breasts aren't unrealistically large or shown obscenely and you can't see her face. It reads more as comfortable and homey to me than as a stiff, blatantly sexual pin-up.
In short I think it's a nice picture. The composition isn't perfect, no, but sometimes a quirk like that makes me like a picture more.
Sorry to all the people with chips on their shoulders, but seriously. Come on. It's not that big of a deal that she's in her underwear.
Congrats on the DD!
I mean, I think it's cool and all how much effort you put into it and the lighting is good, but...
it just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
It's more like a pin-up. I just don't like how people portray skinny, perfect-skin, big breasted women as 'beautiful' or 'perfect for photography'. Of course, this is just my opinion.
i just dont think it deserves a dd..
good shot though it is well done
Feel free to don't like my stuff. Freedom of speech applies here. Cheers, B.
Eh, I didn't really think that you would fuss at me, just a bunch of people who left comments saying how they loved it.
Sorry I sort of made you think I was judging you.
It's just my honest opinion.
But, of course, that's just MY honest opinion.
As in, it's just my opinion, and that as other people see it as art, while I don't. It's just not art to me. I'm not saying it isn't art at all, I just wouldn't consider it art based on my own personal tastes.
Pin-up IS art.
This IS art.
Just because you don't happen to like it doesn't mean that it isn't art. It just means it's art that doesn't appeal to you personally.
Thanks for the discussion anyway. It's pretty interesting!
Enjoy your weekend, Best regards, B.
