Storm

I actually finished it on time! I'm so excited.

Done for the Impundulu contest over at , I wanted to capture the Lightning Bird as it transformed into that sexy man that wickedly seduces women.

I'm also including it in my 100 for . Something about two birds with one painting or some such nonsense.

I found, though I still have a lot to learn, I love painting lightning. I really do want to have more interesting lighting in my work in the future and it was a great experiment.

One of my fastest paintings recently (though I could spend a lot more time on it I'm sure), clocking in at around 10 hours.

The stock referenced belongs to the amazing , who I can not compliment enough. He has the most exquisite classical poses. Gets me every time.
