Here are the colors for the WildCATS team pic. I think it came out pretty well. Hopefully did justice to the original 90s flavor of the book. Speaking of 90s, I did a little embossed holofoil mock up in Blender and posted it to my Instagram - bdougstevens. Pure nostalgia.

It would just be wonderful to be able to see back a comic book title from Wild.C.A.T.S. bringing back the classic team formed by : Spartan , Maul , Warblade , Grifter , Mister Majestic , Lord Emp , Ladytron , Voodoo , Zealot and Void. The Wild.C.A.T.S. are among my most beloved and dearests comics book titles and seeing them come back after so long would be a fantastic thing that I would greatly appreciate if it happened. I would also love if they happen to make solo titles with Maul the " Hulk of Wildstorm " , Mister Majestic the " Superman of the Wildstorm Universe " , Void the " Jean Grey of the Wild.C.A.T.S. " Spartan the " Cyclops of Wildstorm Comics " , Warblade the " Wolverine of Wild.C.A.T.S. comics book titles " and Grifter the " Batman of Wild.C.A.T.S. Universe " just as I would just love it if DC Comics would re-publish new comic books titles of Wildstorm universe. I'd also think it would be fantastic if by chance they would create a "She-Maul" female version of Maul and a Wildstorm "She-Hulk" or Wild.C.A.T.S versions of Skaar the Son of Hulk (perhaps a "son" of Maul), Savage She-Hulk / Lyra (a "daughter" of Maul coming from another Universe) , A-Bomb (Maul's best friend transformed into a Titanthrope-like creature by an accident that gave him super powers equivalent to Maul's) , Red Hulk ( [ Yes, he too ! Why do not ? I like him, sue me! ] member of a warrior caste of the race of Titanthropes as powerful as Maul ) Red She-Hulk ( [ Yes! Her too ! What is wrong? I like her too! Get sued for "bad taste" ! ] a female member of a warrior caste of the Titanthropes as powerful as "She-Maul" ) and Devil Dinosaur ( Perhaps a genetically mutated Dinosaur with DNA Titanthrope included in its genetic structure which makes it stronger, smarter and more powerful than a "common" Dinosaur the Maul's "pet" ) or a Miss Majestic, a Majestic Boy, a Majestic Girl, a a hyperpowerful version of "Steel / John Henry Irons" one Black African-American inspired by Mister Majestic , a Majestic Dog, a Majestic Stallion , a Majestic Cat, a Majestic Chimpanzee etc , clones of Warblade that would be equivalent to "X-23 / Laura Kinney" and "Honey Badger / Gabrielle" and perhaps "sons" of Warblade equal "Dark Wolverine / Daken Akihiro" , or new female warriors Coda equivalent to Troia / Donna Troy , Artemis of Bana-Mighdall , Nubia , Fury / Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor-Hal, Fury II / Helena Kosmatos , Wonder Girl / Cassandra Sandsmark .But unfortunately it is not up to me to decide and I think such a big team would be very difficult to control so it is better that it is only the original Wild.C.A.T.S. : Spartan, Maul, Warblade, Grifter, Mister Majestic, Lord Emp, Ladytron, Voodoo, Zealot and Void.

I always wondered why there wasn’t more of an effort with some of the more popular Wildstorm characters. Lots of messy third-string characters in the DC roster that could have easily been switched out.

I really agree that they could and should have tried a little more creative effort, care and caprice in the comics book titles of the greatest heroes of Wildstorm and treated them with due respect than replacing them with characters from the Universe DC not much relevant and without much connection with the superheroes of the Wildstorm.

🎶WildCATs! WildCATs! We're good against evil!🎶

I just remember "We're heroes, not zeroes."

Funny how I seem to remember the whole song.

We need the original wildcats back in action.

Maybe someday. Don't know if Jim Lee has the juice to get the book relaunched, or if he's even interested in doing it. Probably won't happen as long as Jim and Wildstorm are with DC.

Who knows. although it's better that way than turning them into jobbers.

I still have issue 1 and 2 of this series in wrap from back in '92. Great job!

My sister got me a signed #1 that hangs over my desk at work. I think I've owned 2-3 other copies of it over the years. I just kept wearing them out. Issue 5 with the gatefold interiors and Cyberforce crossover is one of my top 5 comics ever.

Man, what I wouldn't give to see these guys back in the comics.

Well,I did see a promo in an issue of Comic Shop News that there was a new Wildcats comic series coming soon awhile back, but that was about it. I did see a group pic in it that also had our man grifter in it as well, but with a different team this time.

I know what you mean though, the original team needs a comeback.

Everything I've seen is more the flavor of a reboot or a relaunch. Nothing approaching the full original team or even one of the subsequent lineups for like 15-20 years. After volume 2 I kind of fell out of the loop, because there wasn't anything recognizable to get on board with. Seems like DC is barely interested in putting comics out with their own characters, much less integrating any new team books from the Wildstorm years. Too bad. I miss those books.

I meant to tell you, point taken I agree with you. At least we'll always have back issues to look forward to,I just don't buy or read current comic books these days.

I do Marvel Unlimited and the occasional indy, but the cover prices of the monthlies has gotten too much to justify.
