Reminders
Rain skitters down the window,
little beads of dew,
collected until a necklace,
is what a web turns into,
gathering glinting droplets,
on its fragile sticky strand,
while tree branches are letting go,
leafs fall and sway then land,
atop ever murmuring waters,
foreign whispering stream,
it reminds me of coffee,
how clouds stir like cream,
oh so dark and bitter,
until you mix a little light,
much alike an orange sunset,
as it welcomes in the night,
its luggage chilly darkness,
from a gentle winters dawn,
snowflakes born so shyly,
in a moment they melt gone,
reminding me I miss you,
since the tide pulled you away,
I wish you home tomorrow,
even if not today.
