Buffy | These beautiful lands

I am no art expert nor do I know the amount of work and intention truly put into this piece, but I'd like to point out some things!

First thing I noticed was the piece seems a bit flat, there is shading on and under Buffy, but other than that there's not much shade. In addition to that, there are very few, or at least hardly noticeable, traces of high light. I can see the sky is bright and blue so I'd assume the sun was out! With that in mind, perhaps some patches of sun hitting Buffy or casting more shadows on the rock.

The river is the other thing I noticed, I'm sure the background was more of a quickly drawn up thing so Buff would have something beautiful to look at, however I feel as though the river would darken or fade as it seems to go rather far off into the distance. In reality it wouldn't look so bright and sharp.

Otherwise I think this piece is beautiful, as all of your art is, and I truly light up when I see in my activity that you've posted something new!
