Detail view of the Yellow Finch from the side. This bird was, by far, the easiest of the three to paint. I'm pleasantly surprised by the results and my work, to be honest. I also thought it would take me longer than it had. My father was absolutely elated when he saw the finished Finches, which makes me happy. Vallejo and Citadel Colours paints were used with this bird: mainly Bad Moon Yellow with a dry brush of Sunburst Yellow. I'm going by the names of the paints as they're fairly old... I've had them since '97. They last quite a while, though keeping them "new" is a feat in itself.
